The Smarter Balanced summative assessment is generically labeled as “high school” regardless of the grade for which it is administered. Having the grade code of "11" for it is confusing and inconsistent, and mapping "11" -> "HS" in the user interface is incompatible with other subjects.
Grade codes and UI labeling for the summative and interim assessments should be modified to allow labeling with a generic grade of "HS". Impacts of this change to filtering behavior and upstream data (e.g., subject definition and assessment packages) need to be taken into consideration as well.
1. Grade filtering for interims shows IABs as “HS”. Need to be able to have a “high school” non-grade code option for all assessment types to have it band over multiple grades (or single grade)
2. High school would need to be mapped through all high school grades (9-12) for custom aggregate reports and all teacher/school/district reports.
3. “Select Assessments” labels need to be cleaned up as well
